These Are the Most Popular Bedding Bundles From Each of the Past Nine Years
Our nine most-loved color combinations of all time, year by year.
It's 2017: millennial pink is the color du jour, everyone has a fidget spinner, and you can't leave the house without hearing Ed Sheeran's Shape of You. But the biggest thing happening this year? The launch of Bed Threads.
Okay, we're a bit biased, but we do hope the introduction of Bed Threads into the homewares scene has made your world a little cozier and more colorful.
Right from the start, our five-piece Bedding Bundles have been our bestsellers. Some of you love our tried-and-true curated bundles, while others get creative with the Build Your Own Bedding Bundle™ option. From bright, vibrant hues to calming neutrals, these are the combinations that have dominated each year from 2017 to now.
2017: Olive
It's no surprise that this was a bestseller from the get-go. Olive is a perpetually popular chromatic choice for homewares, fashion, and any other category where color is a consideration. When it comes to bedding, this classically refined green embodies a European-inspired aesthetic that feels timeless and effortless, no matter which home it's in.
2018: Oatmeal
A basic that’s far from basic. We knew from the moment we launched our range of 100% French flax linen that we needed a warm neutral that would compliment any space: not quite white, not quite cream, not quite beige. The result was this textured and timeless shade. It's been a favorite every single year since 2017, but this was the year that it really resonated, taking the number one spot.
2019: Rust & Terracotta
These warm, spice-toned hues look like they were made for each other. Rust, a bold, burnt orange is a statement piece, while Terracotta brightens the look with its light earthiness. Clearly, everyone was looking for some dynamism in 2019 with this complimentary color combination.
2020: Olive & Sage
I wonder what could have happened this year that made everyone collectively crave the outdoors? Oh, right. Along with copious amounts of indoor plants and natural light, these soothing, verdant shades brought a touch of nature into people's homes in 2020.
2021: Sage & White
By 2021, our homes were well and truly our sanctuaries, and our bedding choices reflected as much. This cleansing, calming duo blends a serene, muted green with crisp, sophisticated White. Just add neutral walls, timber furniture, and some lush vegetation, and you've got yourself a bonafide oasis.
2022: Olive Stripe & Sage
With everyone still riding the wave of plant-inspired palettes, 2022 saw this biophilic combination rise to the top of the bestsellers. Here, Olive Stripe – the deep green hue you know and love with a slim, vertical Oatmeal stripe – layers over a more subtle green base to create a tranquil scene.
2023: Oatmeal & White Stripe
In 2023, this luxurious blend of our most-loved neutrals, Oatmeal & White Stripe offered a subtle spin on the two classic 100% French flax linen colors. Cozy and unassumingly chic, this versatile neutral was the backdrop to countless bedrooms this year.
2024: Hazelnut & Terracotta
Things were warming up again in 2024. Luscious, ochre-toned Hazelnut paired with the gentle peachy shade of Terracotta combines to form a sun-drenched caramel color scheme. Bathed in natural light, a bed clad in this honey-hued duo offers an instant dose of dopamine.
2025: Terracotta, Rosewater & Lavender
Still in tonal territory, some floral blush hues were thrown in the bestsellers mix in 2025. Rosewater, a barely-there hint of pink forms the base, while Terracotta tops it off. Add two pillowcases in Lavender – a romantic shade of pale purple – and you've for a delicate and ethereal bedding situation that would make anyone swoon.
2026: Espresso & Vanilla
In 2025, we launched our new fiber – 100% organic cotton percale, and clearly, it struck a chord. In 2026, the most popular Bedding Bundle wasn't of the 100% French flax linen variety, and was instead from our new range of crisp, smooth matte bedding. Espresso, a grounding brown that channels an of-the-moment retro style pairs perfectly with the understated creamy-toned warmth of Vanilla.
