Newport Beach is one such gem, renowned for its stunning coastal beauty and relaxed yet sophisticated lifestyle.

Stroll around Newport Beach Farmer's Market

Is there anything more wholesome than meandering around a good farmer's market? Pitched by the water at Newport Beach Pier, we're here to tell you the weekly Newport Beach Farmers' Market won't disappoint. Every Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm, visitors can shop for handmade goods and fresh produce while soaking up the sun and sea breeze.

It's all in the name. If you consider yourself a bit of a fashionista, you'll be pleased to hear Newport Beach offers a world-class shopping experience.

You'll find a variety of upscale boutiques, department stores, and specialty shops to wander around – including Neighborhood Goods where Bed Threads' just launched our first-ever in-person shopping experience! The pop up will be open for six months so you can touch and feel the magic of our 100% French flax linen, mix and match our 25 colours on our swatch wall, and see our furniture range up close and personal.

Even if you're not in the market for new sheets right now, it's still fun to grab an iced latte from the in-store cafe and wander around the beautiful al-fresco setting of Fashion Island.

When you're ready for dinner, head to Malibu Farm restaurant located at the beginning of the Lido Marina Village pier. Known for its fresh, organic, and local ingredients, this waterfront restaurant serves up a delicious menu consisting of spaghetti squash lasagna, vegan coconut curry, and seasonal farmer's market mushroom with Fresno chilli vinaigrette, blue cheese, and brioche croutons.

Whether you'd prefer to start your day early to enjoy the tranquil morning hours at the beach, take a midday dip, or spend your evening admiring the sunset, spending some time at Newport Beach itself is a must. Newport Beach offers miles of sandy shoreline where you can relax, sunbathe, or take a leisurely stroll along the water's edge at any time of the day.

Stroll down Newport Beach Pier

Newport Beach Pier is located at Balboa Peninsula near Balboa Pier and offers arguably the best spot to admire the striking sunsets. Wander or bike down to enjoy the view of the coastline and watch surfers catching waves. It's also a great spot for fishing.

Ride on the Ferris wheel at Balboa Fun Zone

One of Southern California's oldest and last coastal amusement areas, The Balboa Fun Zone has delighted locals and visitors alike since the 1930s with its county fair-style rides. Jump on the Ferris Wheel to admire the beauty of Newport Beach from a different perspective (O.C. fans will recognise this spot), play games in the arcade, or tour the nautical museum.
