To keep you entertained through all 29 days of this love-filled month, we’ve put together this list of new shows we can’t wait to stream.
From the highly anticipated TV adaptation of the Hollywood blockbuster film, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, to Netflix’s latest rom-com starring White Lotus favourite Leo Woodall, here’s what to look out for this month.
1. Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Where can I watch it? Amazon Prime Video
Best known as the film that scandalously birthed Brangelina, 2005’s action-filled Mr. & Mrs. Smith was the talk of the town when it came out. Buzz around a TV remake has swirled for years, and now finally, it’s here. Over eight episodes, Donald Glover and Maya Erskine star as The Smiths, two spies forced into an arranged marriage to live a life of extravagance and espionage.
2. Curb Your Enthusiasm, Season 12
Where can I watch it? Hulu
How does a new season of Curb sound? Pretty, pretty, pretty good. Less exciting are the rumours that it could be the last, though apparently, Larry David makes that claim every season. It’s been 26 months since the funniest, most chaotically neurotic character has graced our screens, but come Feb 5, the world will know joy once more.
3. Abbott Elementary, Season 3
Where can I watch it? Hulu
Pack your lunches for another shambolic semester because school’s back in session at Philadelphia’s Abbott Elementary. Just weeks ago, star and creator Quinta Brunson became the first Black woman in more than 40 years to win the Emmy for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as teacher Janine Teagues in the show. Tune in to see why school’s never been this cool!
4. One Day
Where can I watch it? Netflix
Following on from the 2011 film starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, One Day promises plenty of romance, drama, and crushing on Leo Woodall. Over 14 (!) episodes, follow the love story of Dexter (played by Woodall) and Emma (Ambika Mod) spanning twenty years, beginning on the day they met on July 15, 1988.
5. The New Look
Where can I watch it? Apple TV+
Fashion and history meet in this thrilling new 10-part series about iconic French fashion designer Christion Dior, played by homegrown hero Ben Mendelsohn. Exploring the ugly side of beauty during WWII, the series reveals how Dior and his contemporaries - including Coco Chanel, Pierre Balmain, and Cristóbal Balenciaga – navigated the horrific period while ushering in a new era of fashion. A performance by Mendelsohn is not to be missed, who stars alongside the likes of Juliette Binoche, David Kammenos, and Maisie Williams.
6. Love is Blind, Season 6

Fittingly returning on Valentine's Day, prep your pods for a new batch of contestants looking for love without using their eyes. Whether guilty pleasure or bold binge, there’s a reason Netflix keeps churning out new seasons of this hit reality dating show. Nixing the notion that love at first sight exists, 30 singletons seek engagement without ever seeing their fiancé’s face. What could go wrong?!
7. Tokyo Vice, Season 2

We first met Ansel Elgort as Jake Adelstein in 2022, when this suspenseful crime drama exposing Japan’s violent underbelly first debuted on our screens. Based on Jake Adelstein’s 2009 memoir, Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan, season 2 promises to delve even deeper into the city’s criminal underworld, with danger once again knocking at Adelstein’s door.
8. The Vince Staples Show

And finally, for something completely different, LA rapper Vince Staples stars as himself in this new five-part scripted comedy series documenting “just another day in the life” of Vince. The satirical series takes us everywhere from jail to an amusement park as he navigates life “as a kind of famous, kind of rich, kind of criminal (but not really) rapper.” Keep your eyes peeled for a fast n fun cameo by hip hop boss, Rick Ross.
